At Legacy Cares, we understand not all children have the financial help to purchase new athletic equipment each year.

We know all too well as children grow out of their athletic gear; replacements are needed. Without new gear, children are subject to injuries, poor performance, and many times, long term pain because a cleat may no longer fit or a shin guard is broken in half leaving the child subject to severe injury on the field. These are just some of the many examples we see when children do not have the right size equipment for playing their favorite sport.

In an effort to help families who struggle to afford new sporting equipment for their kids, Legacy Cares has partnered with a phenomenal organizational to collect new and gently-used sports equipment and clothing for children in need, Pass It On.

“We are grateful for our partnership with Legacy Cares and energized by what we as a team can do to bring new and gently used sports equipment and clothing to financially challenged athletes in Maricopa County. With both our outdoor Pass It On donation collection bin and the volume of unclaimed lost and found items we receive each month from Legacy Cares, we are able to get sports gear right back into the community to be repurposed and enjoyed.
