Legacy Cares is proud to have hosted over 60 high school juniors and seniors from Mesa Regional Foundation for Accessibility, Diversity and Inclusion’s Student Tourism Exploration Program at Legacy Park for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of our facilities and day to day operations. These local high school students were able to see the scope of our project, learn about the events and installations that bring tourists to East Mesa from all over the country. Thank you to Alison Brooks and Lance Fite of VisitMesa for facilitating this tour and helping us engage with youth in our community.
“The students in our program were inspired by their tour of Legacy Park. Not only were they able to learn about the facility itself, but also the impact the venue has within Mesa and how it plays an important role in the visitor economy.”
Alison Brooks, President of Mesa Regional Foundation for Accessibility, Diversity and Inclusion
